A truly unique vintage piece that once helped smooth clothes with coal embers, but now awaits a new role. This heavy, characterful iron is a spectacular decoration in itself, but with a matching small flower pot it can be transformed into a very special flower pot. A small green plant or succulent nicely offsets the seriousness of the dark iron, and a playful yet stylish decoration is created.

The iron's lidded design, wooden handle, and heavily patinated iron surface beautifully preserve the atmosphere of old times. We offer it as a unique decoration together with the small flowerpot that comes with it, but of course the iron can also be used as a vintage ornament on its own.

I think it would look best in a farmhouse, vintage or rustic kitchen, especially on an open shelf, old wooden worktop or a chest of drawers. The black, heavy iron surface looks great in a white, off-white or natural wood environment, next to linen, old ceramics, wooden cutting boards and other small vintage kitchen treasures.
As a flower pot, it can provide a particularly good contrast with a smaller plant with distinctive leaves – such as a succulent or other compact houseplant: the gloom of the old iron is nicely relaxed by the green.
And of course, you don't have to use it with plants: it's a very showy vintage decoration on its own, for example next to books, old kitchen items or other iron objects.
