The Patina of Time – Copper Mortar and Pestle Pair
An old pair of mortars, probably made of copper-bronze alloy, with original pestles, found in my grandparents' attic. The solid material and the deep, natural patina give the pieces a timeless character. Not a modern decor, but a treasure that has become a useful object, which now primarily carries atmosphere and history. A unique pair, with small signs of age.
It looks best on a kitchen counter or open shelf, next to herbs and wooden surfaces. It can be a focal point in a vintage, rustic or eclectic interior, or it can be a characterful decoration on a bookshelf or in a study.
