My own paintings – a story that started from within

It started during Covid.
In a time when everything was uncertain. When we were locked down. When everyone was looking for something to hold on to. And in the meantime, I had a strange, strong urge: to do something. To create something . I had no prior training as a visual artist. I hadn't taken any courses. There was no "plan".
I simply started.
At first it was just experimentation. Colors, shapes, attempts. Then at some point I wasn't just painting, I started to feel what I wanted to see on the canvas. And then the pictures appeared. Strong colors. Defined shapes. And a very pure feminine energy.
Many paintings were inspired by something. I saw something somewhere — an image, a mood, a detail. But I never copied it. It always passed through me. And by the time it was on canvas, it was mine. I don't think in one way . Some are abstract. Some are figurative. Some are more of a mood. Some are quieter. And some are downright powerful.
Each one was a moment worth preserving.
Painting for me is not a technique. It's a state. When the noise turns off, and only what's happening inside remains. A little positivity. A little feminine energy. A reminder that the world is beautiful — and that even difficult times can be overcome.
I haven't "made" pictures since then. I only paint when something touches me. A feeling. A thought. A mood. And when that happens, it becomes a new picture.
Now the point has come that I would like these works to not only continue to exist in my home, but also to find their place in other people's homes.
If there is one that makes you stop for a moment, it might be just for you!
