The story of a stool – and the launch of DekorTrezor

There is a special charm to old objects.

They are not perfect. They are not flawless. But they have a story.

The idea for DekorTrezor was born from this: from the feeling when you see what could still be in a worn, forgotten piece.

This little stool, for example.

When it came to me, it wasn't "Insta-compatible" to say the least. It was worn, scratched, damaged in several places - typically the kind of piece that many people would just throw away.

But I immediately had something in it.

A character. A little playfulness. And somehow… Garfield vibe 😄

The renovation was not a “quick project”.

Sanding, repairing, painting – and in the meantime, constant experimentation. What color works? How “perfect” does it have to be? Where should the past be left?

In the end, this warm, orange shade was born – a little playfulness in the legs, a little character in the shape.

And suddenly it wasn't just a stool anymore. It was a piece with atmosphere.

And somewhere here DekorTrezor started.

Not with perfect objects, but with stories. Not with catalog pieces, but with treasures with character.
